But like everything in SharePoint it can still be improved. The following are some tips I’m using to make my life that little bit easier…. haven’t got it making the coffee yet… sure there will be a sandbox app for that at some point.

 

 

So you work on mulitple farms, dev/uat/production and have to constantly check the remote desktop bar to work out which server you’re on.

 

Well a simple solution is to browse to the site settings page, choose the ‘Title, description, and icon’ option and append a farm identifier to the Title.

 

Seems obvious but the links you navigate to frequently add them to the top bar.
